when I move jobs I don’t take 4 of my mates with me and leave my old place of work struggling to replace us all at once following a massive transitional period, change of ownership, overhaul of players, and with a huge local derby a few days away.

Also worth noting I have to give a decent notice period and I don’t get paid thousands per week for the privilege.

Yeah Hecky good luck and all, but taking our staff has changed my outlook. Bit of compo for the club? Great but who’s left to run the club? We were shortstaffed as it was.

You can only compare football with jobs in the real world when it suits those in football. If it doesn't suit there's no similarity and football shouldn't be judged as a "normal" job.

Well, when Clarkie left to go back home to Leeds he took Barry Murphy with him as first team coach and Martin Wilkinson as Chief Scout.

    That went well....not :)

If we bring in someone else from another club, it'll happen with them as well.

I don't remember that happening - surely he wouldn't be needed as I'm sure I recall Murphy being installed as first team coach. It seemed odd at the time having all those international players being coach by Spud Murphy :D

I doubt if the Leeds fans were impressed then, and I am sure they are not impressed now either.
