James Cryne is the equivalent of Jean-Pierre Rivère at Nice. Rivère seems to have been instrumental in getting Jim Ratcliffe to buy the club from Chien Lee's consortium and has returned as President in the new regime. Maybe James can do something similar.
This has been done to death, Nobody knows what Chien is worth, the figures quoted are what the Companies they own are valued at. Even then the Indian fella his figures are based on his Fathers company that he is part of.
i thought some fans on twitter or was it facebook were posting congrats messages on the data company site that some people were saying his supposed son owned and he posted back on it that it wasn't him that invested in Barnsley F.C . is that really his father the guy who owns the drugs company there's nothing on the site or his alleged fathers pharma company site saying they invested in a football club. how old is Neerav Parekh he looks too young to be his son its possible but incredible unlikely . just done a bit of checking Madhukar Parekh owner of Pidilite has only two children both girls so nope nothing to do with them. Lazy fake newspaper reporting for a change. https://www.outlookbusiness.com/specials/the-outperformers_2017/the-right-balance-3688 "Having successfully created a robust foundation for the next innings, Madhukar Parekh continues as executive chairman and four of the 12 board members are family, including brother, Ajay, his uncle Narendra, and cousin Apurva. Parekh’s two daughters and his brother’s daughters have stayed away from any formal association with Pidilite"
Done a little bit of digging and it seems it was Yorkshire Post who first went to print saying he was both the son and founder of the data company. Looking into MP there is no mention of children except to say he has 2 children, I did see a report saying two females were joining the board and would represent the next generation. But never assumed they were his. Looking into Neerav, I have found only the following, he is CEO of Branston Investments, which as the name says he invests in companies. People shouldn’t get too excited over this though as it was only formed in August 2018 after our buyout. Prior to that he was a Product Manager for a company called Ask Wealth Advisors Ltd based in Mumbai. What this says to me is like Conway, Grace and Chien they made some money in investments from being advisors/investors in the finance industry. Which in turn confirms for me that all the investors with Chien aside (as there is no real info on him) actually have no real money to speak of. That’s not to say they are not wealthy compared to us and probably millionaires in their own rights, but certainly no unlimited pot as some suggest.
The Nudger flip flop. Just loves being Tommy Opposite. Slating the owners in November, now praises them at every opportunity just to get the attention he craves.
Putting your opinions of Patrick to oneside, you are right about messing with the plan that was working (to a degree). It was better than the no loans, absolutely no experience plan we have now. I just want to know what makes you think this: "What we have now are owners that can do just that - they can compete in the Championship." What has happened in the time they have been in-charge that give that statement any credibility?
We are the sporting equivalent of "Homes under the Hammer". Buy cheap with future prospects, improve ( hopefully) flip for a profit and then just keep on doing it.
You don’t need to spend massive amounts to be competitive in this league (if I may use Sheffield Utd as an example) recruitment is key and of course a half decent manager/coach.Send for Warnock is my plea.
Not a big fan of bumping old threads but this was totally justified. Just in case there was any doubt as to whether was a WUM or not...
