    I'm not a fan of Mr Cryne, for personal reasons not his running of the club, some stuff I disagreed with some I agreed with, but he was, without doubt, a wise and intelligent man. I don't think that's a matter of opinion, it just is. And as good a public speaker as I've known. I got the impression he didn't think so, or didn't like doing it, which I understand perfectly, but I don't like doing it because I'm miles out of my comfort zone, where as Mr Cryne was so accomplished.

    After I’d scoured the internet and finding very little I came to the same conclusion. They are ten-Bob billionaires!
    They talked a good plan when they purchased Barnsley FC but none of it, cept for not spending a penny of their own fictitious billions and allegedly keeping us solvent, has come to pass 2 1/2 years on.

    All they’ve done is taken us severely backwards on the pitch and alienated the fanbase.

    We’d be better off without them as their input has been negligible and harmful overall.

    This exactly..... People can argue all day long as to whether they have any wealth or not but the one thing we can 100% agree on is that on the pitch, relationship with the fans, communication has gone backwards.

    It's a bit like having a landlord. It doesn't matter how rich they are if they just take the rent but dont keep up with the maintenance. Ultimately the house ( or club) will.suffer.

    I think Patrick knew quite a bit about football actually but he didn't have the funds to spend as with other clubs. I must agree this board dont want to spend any of their money never mind the 'silly money' they mentioned when taking over the club. They may be billionaires but they never intended to put any cash into the club. I suspect they know f_ _k all about football and are not interested in Barnsley FC truth be told unlike Patrick, John Dennis , and Arnold Dennis before him. Arnold Dennis used to come and watch all the reserve matches never mind the first team. !Cant see Conway , Chein Lee , Grace Hung etc doing that somehow even if they could find their way to Oakwell on their Sat Nat. Feeling pessimistic about the future but hope I am pleasantly surprised.
