I hope so too, I never stopped liking him and I sincerely hope things work out for him in the future.
Wouldn't be surprised to see him at another Championship club in the not too distant future. I think with a bit of money behind him, and of course the experience he's had with us of the league, he'll do fine. Seriously wish him all the best, no doubt there'll be an interview with him in the next week or so and I hope he doesn't use it as an opportunity to slag the club and the fans off.
Yeah best of luck prob 100k better off and all us saying nice bloke do you really think he gives a toss with his big wedge in bank if you do you're very naive
Best of luck to him, had great days out at Peterbro & Charlton and he gave us Vaz Te, probably best we've seen since the likes of Higgy, Ward etc. Cheers Keef
Would you have thought differently, if a couple of months ago he have left us for a bigger club? Part and parcel of being a manager
wish the guy nothing but the best, just because it didn't work out for him here theres no reason to have a pop at the guy.
I'm sure he'll be fine. A year's salary in the bank, he'll get another job before long and no doubt go on to some form of success in the future. However I've no doubt (like any other manager or player) had he been successful then he'd have left us in the not too distant future for a 'better' club and bigger pay cheque. That's football and he's certainly no victim of circumstance. Good luck to him.
