As the representative of the BBS. Gally and I will get back to you in due time. I'm rushed off my feet and Gally is on holiday. We have lives but we'll update you when we can.
Well that at least gives some assurance we'll get some detailed and honest feedback. Look forward to it @Jay!
Eh up @Jay not sure if you have an iPhone but there is a button on the keyboard that looks like a microphone . I It’s v accurate now and saves you hours on end typing stuff up if you’re a bit slow like me. May or may not be of use mate. Thanks in advance for doing it although deeply disappointed about you failing to query the olive bar
Interested to hear your thoughts @Jay. I enjoy reading your posts regarding the current goings on darn at oakwell. Get a shift on!
LOL now that number brings back memories .... like asking my Mums permission to call it after reading some headlines on teletext about new signings which always turned out to be nonsense! Nothing changes but the technology, ..... the joy of being a Barnsley fan.
That brings back memories! That number was my, sparingly used, source of updates during university, along with cut-out back pages of the Chronicle being sent by post. We shared a phone line with others and it was a dead giveaway when we used to highlight the itemised bills to work out who'd spent what. The 'matchday experience' was a group of us around a mate's TV watching teletext update on a Saturday afternoon, whilst listening to Radio 5. Reading that back I feel like Uncle Albert starting a "during the war" story.
Been in that London since the meeting with work. On my way home now, hopefully give my thoughts tomorrow and pass the recording over to Gally No iPhone, I don't even have a TV.
Having quickly read a few posts 95% of transfer income hasn't gone, it hasn't been spent. The way it was explained is that it's been accounted for. Transfer fees and wages for 12 players. Is that the correct way to account for transfer income? Depends on your point of view I suppose. I don't, but I'm not an accountant. But that's the way it was related to us.
Quick thoughts: I liked Dane, I found him engaging. I don't believe he told an untruth throughout the evening. However At one point Beth stated she knew the exact number of season tickets sold. She asked Dane if she could tell us that. And Dane said no, not the exact figure. I thought, if you can't tell us something as inoccuous and benign as the number of tickets sold are you really going to tell us anything at all.
