Well I love Marmite, so not that. There really isn't much I don't like. Perhaps raw celery or fennel, or probably something I've never tried like that fermented sour Swedish herring Surströmming which I'm sure I'd gip at.
Chips with vinegar are inedible - to me. I never liked it as a kid but when I did my Chemistry degree we used acetic acid as a lab reagent and the smell used to make me heave. Another thing chemistry related is Cola. I went to a symposium in Frankfurt and a guy was demonstrating a Ph meter using a can of coke, the acidity reading was astounding, no wonder the stuff takes the surface off a penny....
Snap! Not much I don’t like... I can live without cheese sauce, but I don’t actively dislike it. Oh and really sweet stuff is difficult. And I’m not fond of the idea of fermented things, but technically cheese, pickles etc are all fermented and I get on fine with them.
The Norwegian version is pretty revolting and I assume similar to the Swedish one Durian is the most appropriate for 2020 if going on smell - that is how 2020 smells to me - though if you can bring yourself to actually eat it its actually quite nice so wouldnt qualify on the eating side There is always vomit fruit I suppose though I never actually tried that
I was just thinking about Durian fruit, never encountered it, but seen the forbidden warning signs on the tube in Singapore, also saw it in the freezer of the Chinese supermarket I visited in Stoke last week. Singapore and Stoke in the same sentence on the BBS! Is that a first?
