I caught one caller only tonight: "No I didn't go on Saturday, I don't go to the games, I listened to every minute of last season on your commentary and I could tell from that, that we're getting worse". The best one from Saturday was Jack though. Probably not able to listen to his call back but he said, "it's not good enough... Yeah it probably is the tactics..." then when asked whether fitness is an issue, he responded with.... "FVCK HER IN THE PUSSAAAYYYY".
I don't mind Mark. He's had people criticise him on air before about how unintelligent he sounds, which I think is pretty rude considering some of the guff that they go on to spout. But what really annoys me about him is that he rings up and asks the presenters questions. It's a phone in!!!! Call in and talk about the game. We know full well what Rob and Andy's views are before you've even picked up the phone Mark lad. **** or get off the pot!!!!!
He's not the only one though. That Rotherham regular "not many Benny" is the worst. "Ave you heard owt Andy/Jonathan about ......(anything at all really - fitness, signings, etc etc). The thing is that they give these people so much air time so it's just encouraging them. Nothing to say so let's bombard the presenters with questions. I only listen now and then, hoping against hope that I will hear something interesting. I'm always disappointed.
I heard that. Shows how pathetic some of them really are. Brian the Blade is the boy though. Used to know a guy who supported United and he told me that he often got an invite to go in one of the hospitality boxes at Bramall Lane and Brian who had his own Company was always there expounding his usual cr*p that Mester McCabe ought to make him Manager. Alleged he criticises the manager and players every game but it seemed to this guy that he doesn't even pay to watch team. Don't know how true it is but the lad who told me had no reason to discredit him. Also said that Brian made no secret of his ambition to be a presenter on Football Heaven. If that ever happened I for one would never tune in again.
I know he doesn't go to games. He reckoned he was disillusioned under Nigel Clough and has never returned. That would explain a few things if he's now to pay for a ticket. I'd love to see him in charge of Sheffield U-Nited. It would be great.
