I was playing around with the Tonge and Hedges videos this morning, in preparation for Saturday’s game.
I tried to mirror them from my iPhone to my TV using the iFollow App. However, I could only get the audio and no picture.
I then tried from the BFC website using Safari and everything was fine.
Has anyone else had similar issues with the iFollow App?

Thanks Gally. I’m laptopless and iPadless for the first time in about 20 years. I had to return them on Monday after I accepted the early retirement package as my company sheds 4.4K employees.

Really annoying the old Barnsley player app used to mirror just fine. Now I have to lug my laptop over to the tv and connect with a cable still moving forwards to the 20th century

I’m getting an error in the browser stating I have to use the App to watch live matches.

Unfortunately I think the only option is using an hdmi cable. It's ridiculous - but that should be no surprise when it comes to ifollow!

There’s no doubt the EFL (?) needs to up their game in terms of making the service easier to use.

Laptop and HDMI is the only way I could get the stream onto my TV set. No Apple TV app as far as I know.

Is this still the case? Can I stream to my Apple TV from my phone? Or do I need my laptop?

If in doubt, test it. Try watching a full match from earlier in the season, from the Result tab.

It seems it’s been purposely done to avoid watching on full size tv. Not sure why though. Unless they trying to prevent pub viewings

iPhone mirroring availability is purely down to the developer of the app and the asserted rights of what is being shown.

If you can’t mirror, it’s on purpose and due to licensing. Nothing to do with app development etc.

Safari on the ipad has a desktop browser mode so you dont get forced onto the app if you dont want to. Is that there on apple tv? (havent tested this theory by the way but maybe will tomorrow) Might be an option to try??
