Did a brilliant job for us 2015/16 season and we should appreciate that.

And all this sanctimonious crap about him signing a contract on the day of Rimmo's funeral.
    What's wrong with that.
If the Chairman of SWFC fixes the date for the signing then a prospective player has to turn up.

It wont happen but would I have Winnall back - yes, with open arms1

    Nope.

Sam Winnall scored for us just after Rimmo's sad passing and looked up at the sky and pointed to the black armband be was wearing to commemorate the great man.

He then signed a contract to go to our local rivals on the day of the funeral.

    Scum.

I’d have him back in a heartbeat. Not that it will happen. Best natural finisher we have had at the club since another miserable sod Andy Payton.

I'd have him back without hesitation. Not because I care either what he did or didn't do but because I think he would score the goals to keep us up. That said if the coach feels he can't work with him then we look at others.

To be honest our midfield is dogger worst we have had in a long time we create very little most matches we had 2 shots on target today in 90 mins scored one. I wouldn't mind Sam back good finisher it will never happen though. But at the minute we could have vardy upfront and I don' think he would get many final balls terrible set pieces are gash.

Sam’s had more threads about him recently than our actual players, jeez.

But no, I wouldn’t have him back. He’s a ****. He also wouldn’t score in this team.

Butterfield, Winnall, Bree, Roberts and Watkins if we are talking former players who aren’t maybe getting a game. None would come back however

The one who would benefit this team the most out of those would be butterfield imo

His transfer was handled appallingly but he's a very good player at this level so I'd definitely have him back.

Shows a total lack of respect to his employers who plucked him from obscurity and a lack of respect for the loyal supporters who sang his name from the stands. He was ok in league 1 but no better than that . He's done amazingly well to con Wednesday into paying him 20k a week . He found his level with us .

Sorry but I disagree. If a future employer has already given you an interview and agreed a contract of employment with you and then asks you to quit your current job on a day that is sensitive to your current employers and knowing it will make absolutely no difference to you or your future employer if you were to start one day later then you simply say to that employer that you are unable to start that day. If they value you as an employee and asset they will understand. If they don't understand and refuse to budge out of nothing but sheer spite then you have to question their morals and what kind of person they are.

Or you could sign on and let your pass and your agent go spreading photos of you signing on social media. That's the classy thing to do

Butterfield and Winnall would see us comfortably top half. I can dream.

Agree with this - we really miss a creative force in midfield. The fact that Bradshaw has 10 to his name this season is an outstanding achievement! Not sure Winnall would have scored any more than that?

The weakness in the team is the midfield central 3 in my opinion. We are sorely missing hourihane and scowen.
