If I'm here the system will stay the same but just with more finance. The question for those that haven't heard it was about the chances of a possible takeover. For me that's perfect. People are saying about this that and the other. I will nail by opinion down and be very open that this business model perfect for me.
Paul is very modest and won't just presume that the new owners will want him to be manager so he'll have said it in a 'just in case' way.
Fecking hell l can't wait. That is exactly want we want, finish the stadium, spruce up the academy a little to ensure we continue to get the best youngsters around and be able to compete wage wise when these youngsters flourish.
If the proposed new owners: 1) Don't mess with The Plan, but instead give it a boost by putting extra money into the pot, and; 2) Keep hold of Hecky, then we are really going places. In the end, if they are clever, the owners will be able to recoup their outlay by selling at the optimum point in a player's contract. Had King Conor signed a new deal when we went up, then he'd have fetched £10million or more, instead of £4million or whatever. We could go close to promotion or even achieve it, whilst generating a profit, *IF* the new guys stick to The Plan, and keep faith with Hecky (and their history at Nice shows they are disinclined to rock the boat.)
Yeah owners son developed software to be able to track each players performance against defined attributes internally that was from U9’s to the first team and externally each player scouted to measure If there numbers were aligned to the clubs scoring system for each position, one example given by the owner was Che Adams who was identified but them lot offered more money and bigger salary this is where the new owners may assist !
Fair enough. They're rubbish, and we'll be in the Conference North in a few years, if we even exist at all. Chien out. Beane out. BOOOOOOO. I can't believe they signed Scott Wiseman again. In 2020. VVankers.
They improved their position by one place, having missed out on the Champions League by 2 points the season before. The value of their outgoings have far exceeded their incomings since the takeover. So far this season they are 8th, having won 3 and lost 3. We all hope this is going to be the best thing that has ever happened to the club, but using Nice as proof of that is very premature.
We can at least say though that the owners don't seem to be an asset-stopping, Charlton or Leyton Orient type of owners even by using the brief history at Nice
