    I probably could have worded it better as it sounded like I was trying to give people a way round it. We have blue badges for both the kids but I have observed the hose pipe ban as I don't think that's the idea behind the exemption.

    Same here, there are 3 blue badges in my household meaning I'm the only one banned from using a hose - and Im 70!
    But we haven't used the hose since the ban was imposed.
