    I remember, we will have bid less than we got for moore. Our fans were moaning at the time but toney is still 23 I think he would have been a good signing.

    good luck to them, not sure they’d even get 25% if that’s what they’re wanting but fair play if they’re going to stand their ground and let him run down his contract.

    Bournemouth and Burnley according to the article want him for nine million but they want 13 million so are refusing to sell him.

    Funny how some teams seem to get top dollar for their guys...yet we are told the usual about well player wanted a move, we had to accept the offer that was on the table.....etc etc. Another major failing of our present set up.

    In the summer a lot of fans on here judged him as if he was the same player he was when he had him on loan 3 years ago, he’s much improved.

    I watched the full match when Peterborough got a result against Pompey that sent us up & he was outstanding.
