    just seen on Twitter:

    #barnsleyfc are preparing bids totalling £3.5million for #pufc and #wwfc strikers Jack Marriott and Nouha Dicko. Still keen on McBurnie as well but that’s more difficult.

    Not sure how reliable the source is though.

    Would take both especially Dicko as he has played in this league before

    Also saw on sky sports today that we are in the running with a few other Championship clubs such as Hull and Sunderland for Scunny winger Hakeeb Adelakun

    Dicko has already been owned by and played for two clubs this season so if we bought him he couldn't play until next season. I don't think even Linton Brown would be that daft!

    (And you'd have to hope that at least one of the strikers we bring in is bigger than 5' 8")

    I suppose if there’s a player you really want and can get him in this window, then it could be a possibility despite him not being able to play this season. You can do a lot of work with him in readiness for next season. Better maybe than signing players on 31 Aug and them taking 6 months to settle down. Whether the player would fancy that arrangement is another matter.
    My recollection of him is that he is a big lad and suspect Wiki have got that wrong.

    Leeds and Derby both rumoured to be interested. Owner said he's not selling Peterborough will want more than £3.5m for him I'd have thought. Although they have just bought Kieffer Moore.

    Goal scoring, assist laden winger who plays in a few positions. Some good goals on youtube. Looks a decent player.

    Looks very good aye.

    4 goals and 10 assists this season as far as I know and won young player of the month recently in league one. Would be a good one if it happens

    So that would mean he can still play for Barnsley. With him playing for Hull and Wolves in the 2017/2018 season.

    No Exile is right you can only transfer permanently once in a season, meaning you cant play for 3 clubs in one season.
