    Oh, I fully understand what out of contract means!!
    Please accept my apologies if you thought I didn't!! It was meant as a rather flippant comment...
    Maybe I should have expanded the comment more by saying, players that are probably not wanted by their current lower league club, or players that want to play for another club... Perhaps the reason they are out of contract is a) they aren't number 1 standard, b) they aren't good enough c) they want to play for a better club.. higher than the league they currently play in d) they want a few extra quid e) they want to move closer to their birthplace f) they want to move closer to their gf's mum g) they want to be in a town that begins with a B. h) anything else.

    I just didn't think that I would need to justify what I meant by writing a huge description of what out of contract means.. but don't worry I have now! :D:D:D

    So in summary, being out of contract tells us absolutely nothing about the players’ motivations or intentions.
