I could only listen on iFollow, but he got plenty of mentions and the commentators were praising him well. Its good to see the Academy producing for us.... hopefully there's more to come too. I for one would rather have our home grown coming through than taking and developing kids from premier clubs.

Brown could possibly push for Thiams position but right side and shift Potts across or play right of a front three. I think the full back position at scunny was stendell going **** or bust.

It was weird how Cavare and Brown swapped sides to such good effect. Cavare put in the cross from the right for moore's goal, then after they swapped, he cut in from the left onto his right foot and scored, whilst Brown had the beating down the opposite flank.

Jared Bird will be the next one to get a run out. The way Dougall is collecting yellow cards it won’t be long before he is suspended. Other refs will be targeting him as well, now that he has three on the board.

In Stendels interview he told Cavare to switch to left and seek to cut inside and shoot. Said Cavare didnt like idea but "did as he vas told" or words to that effect

    It depends who's asking...
Not seen his moment of madness at Rochdale mentioned on here - when the ref told him to 'come over here' to show him the yellow, Dougall just stood there, 20ft away and told the ref to come to him! Asking for trouble, that lad.....

Hope we give chance for Jacob and Victor to get in team this season , they seem decent prospects

Have you not been watching Cavare this season?

He’s been outstanding playing in the same position Brown played.

That’s without even mentioning Kieffer Moore who got a hatrick and assist playing wide versus Rochdale.

Kieffer Moore got a hatrick and an assist playing wide in the match before.

Yes, so you said back on the 25th August. Are you really so desperate for me to reply? I didn't go to the Rochdale game, so Moore's performance out wide, as you believe he played, was not something I could judge Brown's performance at Scunthorpe against. I did go to the Scunthorpe game and thought Jacob Brown played very, very well. It was, as I said almost two months ago, "Best performance from a wide player I've seen for a long long time." Sorry if that opinion is still bugging you.

Mcburnie played better out wide at a higher level a number of times.

I’ve got a husband. Cavare has also put a number of better performances in outwide as has Brad Potts.
Harvey Barnes must have put in 3/4. Then Thiam vs Oxford. All much having much better and more effective games than Browns cameo.

Why does my opinion on the performance of one player almost 2 months ago matter to you so much? I'm not asking anyone to change their opinion, I'm not criticising anyone, I was simply praising one of our young players who had a very positive effect on a game where until his introduction, we weren't doing so well.
You're perfectly entitled to your opinion on the performances of Barnsley players in wide positions, but it remains your opinion it doesn't make you right. No one is right, it's just our opinions.
