Folk make me laugh villa come in for you and offer you stupid money for a few years and you'd turn it down? Laughing all the way to the bank he's secured his family future will be able to retire his parents and help any immediate family with housing deposits etc... I'd jump at the chance if I were in his position. If or when he get released by villa he's got more than enough time to develop as a player. As he's not currently playing his next club won't be paying stupid wages and the odds are he'll be moving there for game time. To say he's ruined his career is ridiculous he's 20 years old. What could potentially ruin his career is sitting on the bench till he's 25 but can't see this happening villa will either play him or release him.
