certainly not all Belgium like we thought it would be. Still think Belgium will win but a goal from Japan would spice things up.
They've brought back 4-2-4 with men flooding back and forwards. That's allowed them to stop Belgium from getting going but it's going to wear them out. If they get through they'll just do the same against Brazil. I'd prefer to see footballing teams win for the good of the game.
I hope this really makes sure that England aren't in anyway complacent tomorrow, even though Japan beat them Columbia are a much stronger side and we've really got to turn up to have a chance
Defending with a front 4 is a darn sight better to watch then 11 behind the ball. I think Japans football is fairly neat and tidy.
Worrying it is. Belgium make wholesale changes from the team that won their first two group games and when they are put back in for the knockouts, they can't play to their usual standard. We've gotta hope we can.
I can confirm nor deny that. Although Martinez might have a put a ton on Japan himself by the looks of it.
Croatia looked foggy for similar reasons. Said at the time it was a bad move. Momentum is everything it’s not like there’s a full season ahead of them after the group it’s 4 games over 2 weeks most will do that all the time anyway. 9 days not playing in a World Cup environment is doing no one any good. Not least kane who would have been chomping at the bit to add to his goal tally.
That's got to be the daftest goal of the competition to date. Woeful clearance and then keeper looked like he was watching the ball out from the header.
Or good job they were rested or they may not have had the energy to keep going. Fact is we don't know if resting players would have made any difference.
Yes we do. It took them 70 mins to wake up and similar happened to Croatia. Sithi when same happens to England tomorrow.
