Anyone else seen the video going round of the Peterborough striker essentially smashing his apartment up? He’s filmed throwing multiple chairs at the wall and then throwing a big tele at the window, smashing both in the process. Looks a right nightmare to control, when he played for Hibs he was in bother after an incident in McDonald’s and then he was out drinking at house parties that’s the papers got hold of. Still a young lad mind only 23 but I can’t see Peterborough being too happy about this coming out.
If he continues to score at the rate he's doing, thus helping them get promoted, I think Posh will forgive him very quickly. I don't see any other scenario than him staying on loan there and starting their next game as usual, like nothing happened.
He's also lucky he's playing for one of the managers with the least amount of moral fibre in the game.
Peterborough will be delighted. Probably knocked a few hundred grand off his price in January. I quite like Peterborough, just can’t stand their owner or manager. Their fans are a weird bunch though now. So bitter about the relegation from about 6 years ago. Reckon they’ll be right up there. They’ve poxed wins in games they should have lost or drawn. Sounds like they didn’t deserve to beat Bristol, Southend or Charlton and should have lost to Donny. Being lucky as well as good always helps. Got a decent front line with Goden, Cummings and Toney too. Would still like to see what happens if they lost a few on the spin. Two huge egos in MacAnthony and Evans.
Are you surprised that a striker has a nasty streak in them !?!?! I would say that the selfish blinkered nasty streak is a positive for strikers at that sort of level. No matter how normal they seem in real life: Example - Alan Shearer. Example - Ian Wright
