So with no evidence, how can you make a defence? Glad you are not my lawyer.

The independent assessment detected country of origin not who used it and thus added little to the information already known. I’m pretty certain Russia was responsible. It’s correct to gather all evidence and follow all protocols before acting. It’s also right to Savin johnson for lying.

The triple lock has been promised and the tories war against the disabled (today they announced removal of funding from Remploy) would be cancelled.

Fair point. But it's the old argument about whether you get into power and get to do some of what you want, or stay ideologically pure and remain in opposition, achieving nothing. Whilever we have the current electoral system I suspect Corbyn will fall into the latter category. But we will see.

Thing about this free bus travel jobby. He says it would be funded by using 1/5th of the road tax income. My problem with this is the sheer state of the roads in this country. Can't remember any time before when they have been so bad, riddled with huge potholes, many roads borderline dangerous. this policy then says the gap in road tax funding would be made up by more government borrowing. Just think it is the wrong time to be slashing the road tax income..

Been driving up the same road to work each day, passing what was a small pothole.. This gradually got bigger day by day. Then someone stuck a traffic cone at the side as a warning. This seemingly with the heavy rain got washed into the pothole, just the top of the cone sticking out, that's how big it had become..

Woe is me. You have no idea about the problems facing the young, as they have no idea of the problems you faced. Time has moved on, and progress will render somewhere in the region of 50% of all jobs (as we know them at the moment) obsolete within the next 20 years and the rest are shifting towards ZHCs. When you left school, people still had jobs for life. The young will be lucky to have full-time jobs when they leave school. Those in nursery now might not even need to learn to drive, which has been a right-of-passage for 17 years olds for most of the last century.

When I left school in 1985 there were no "jobs for life": Thatcher had and was making that a reality in all our major state industries. Indeed i was packed off to live away from home to work in northampton because there were no jobs at all round here.

When I left school after Wilson’s rule starting intoTed Heaths government there were hardly any jobs then and the ones that were available got sh1tloads of applications so nowt new there. Hated Thatcher and what she did but there seems to be some selective memory loss from folk on what it was like before.

I had a brilliant upbringing in the 70s. The miners strike of 84/5 however laid waste to the family business which went bankrupt as a consequence of no-one having any money to spend. I must add many striking miners were given credit by my parents: far too many never paid their dues back.

Glad you had a good 70’s but what happened in the 80’s wasn’t my point, which was people fixate on the 80’s and the collapse of the mining industry. What I am saying is successive governments prior to that Labour and Tory had left the job situation ( outside mining) in the **** but apparently nobody cares or remembers that

The collapse of the mining industry though had a much wider impact on barnsley: it ****** up pretty much every other business too. The EU saved barnsley when it was placed under objective 1 in the early to mid 90s. The governments of the 70s were woeful but this did not have any significant impact on my family. So i am simply passing comment from my experience of coming of working age during the 80s strike.

    You support who you support.

Blair re-branded the party as "New Labour".

The party now is back to being "Labour".

    It is simple.

If you want to be be a Tory. Be one. Not in the Labour Party though, please.

Blair is a Tory & a Hawk, and an untried war criminal.
