Man City put on projections of their players to celebrate the title in their home towns, did anyone catch the John Stones one?
When Vincent Kompany raised the Premiership trophy, at night, Man City put into action a plan that had taken weeks to organise. They beamed an image of the squad and the Club badge across the front of Manchester Town Hall and an image of each player was beamed onto a building in their home town celebrating the community that fostered their talent as a boy. The light show took in 25 towns and cities from Stockport to Paris, Santiago to Bradford, Essen to Abidjan and Barnsley. Fabian Delphs image was projected on his former School Tong Academy Bradford, Raheem Stirlings , Copland Community School Wembley, Kyle Walker on a building on the Landsdowne Estate in Sharron, Sheffield, Phil Foden on a viaduct in Stockport and as has been already said, John Stones was shown at his former school Penistone Grammar.
