    Don't think we can stand in his way if a Prem move is offered - providing they pay. But another Champ club ? he wouldn't be going if it was down to me.

    Probably explains why we conceded 67 goals - more than Wigan and Blackburn.

    I like MacDonald but he's not ready to be the senior defender.

    Problem we've got, and have always had is affording that strength if depth. We can't afford to have good, established players sitting on the bench waiting for a chance.

    Do we think Kpekawa could be used in a swap deal for Potts plus money?

    Was reported the other day a swap deal may be introduced and he is from Blackpool.

    I'd hate us to sell him to Birmingham. Hold out for £5million from a prem team or a Sunderland/ Villa.

    Can't say I agree. Macdonald did very well last season and will only get better. If he's not ready now then I don't think he ever will be.

    Anyone that reckons Brum is a sideways step is mental. They're loaded now and it wouldn't surprise me if they're top 6 at the end of the season. No way would dodgy Harry be there if they weren't gunna splash the cash. Would be a good move for the lad.

    We looked poor when he played alongside Jackson. I think the stats back this up.

    Not mental though, we all know money doesn't always bring success, look at Villa last year, they chucked millions at it and did not do a great deal better than us.

    Not saying that they will suffer same fate but just because they starting to throw money at it buying some good players does not make them a good team as a whole, they were awful last year and scraped survival, spending 5 mill on Robbo will not make them a top 6 side, they will need to throw an awful lot more than that at it before they are anywhere near that level. So yes defo a sideways step still IMO

    Hecky said he wanted 7 players across the back line; we've currently got 6 so need at least 1 (a full-back) as we stand, then another if Robbo or Yiadom leave

    If Keane goes for the reported £25mil then we should be pushing for as close to £10mil as possible.

    Do I think he's worth that - probably not.

    But if they have 25mil and they need a replacement then we need to start playing hard ball.
