OK & it was actually 7 wins on the spin, also in a League lower. Have you conveniently forgotten the 10 losses on the spin including losing to Non-League opposition in the FA CUP two months previous?
He left after the semi final win on sky. Thus cementing our place at Wembley. Therefore getting to Wembley. And his football wasn't great I'll give you that. But 8 wins on the bounce is 8 wins on the bounce. As it 8 losses, like he'd also delivered!
But you're contradicting yourself all over the place here mate - what's you're actual point? JM has been in teh job 2 minutes and you've already written him off - is that it? So you're telling me that the football under PH for the last 6 months was better than the last few games? I don't think so, at all. Many times this season we were failing to register a shot in target - I know because I was there
Just because I think Morais is a poor manager doesn't mean I automatically think every other manager we've had is superb. They're not mutually exclusive. I just think Morais is doing a poor job.
I'm no trying to argue with you- sorry if I came across that way. I'm just trying to say that I think Morais is the wrong man for the job, has no experience of the league and has so far delivered poor results and a poor style of football. That's all. I hope he proves me wrong and I'll be the first to admit it. As Johnson proved us wrong after his bad run.
Yes but that's not purely down to us. Teams below us have started picking up points since then. Heckys last 7 games 5 points Morais first 7 games 5 points Were no worse. Others have improved.
OK - I'll agree that I was more than surprised when he got the job, as you say no experience of the league / English footballers. But to say he has delivered a poor style of football after sitting through 6 months of Heck's boring defensive tactics is wrong after he's only been here 6 weeks. We had to sit through nearly 18 months of LFJ and his "bomb alley" and other ***** before he actually won a few on the trot, so give JM a chance will you? Like I say the wins by LFJ were in a league lower than teh Championship as well
5 points off relegation zone? Promotion from league One? On the verge of the playoffs before his team was ripped out from under him?
Agree with that to be honest. Maybe I've written off Morais too soon - I hope I have. It's just the impression I've got over the last 10 weeks or so.
Oh come off it. We're talking about this season for goodness sake. His promotion from league one was great and he was fully appreciated, but has no bearing on now surely? How long do you want to go back to suit your argument? Morais has only had 8 games and you're comparing him to hecky in league one?
Previous success shows that Hecky new what he was doing. Morais has no success whatsoever at any level in any job. Edit - as previously stated, I want Jose to succeed and shove my words down my throat. I hope we win every game till the end of the season and he knocks on my front door with a **** eating grin. I just can't see it.
If we do drop I hope Hammill stays, he was very instrumental in us getting back last time & his experience would be invaluable plus if he was to leave it would be probably to a rival & I would sooner have him with us than against us
He hasn't had chance yet! He's inherited a league one standard team and had 8 games in charge. Give the bloke chance.
We're going round in circles now. Like I say I hope he comes good, but this debate could last all night. Have a good evening mate. You reds.
I do not get this years Rotherham bit at all , this time last year they were already down & cut adrift , something we are clearly not , currently there is no comparison between the teams
