    I really do get where you are coming from and I'm not defending him as such. I just think he's probably succumb to what Hecky did, desperately trying something different to find a win.

    Surely as a new manager it's his responsibility to watch the footage of the games earlier on in the season to see what works what doesn't and how some players play better with others.

    When performances have been pretty good of late you line yourself up to be shot down by changing 3 players and formation if it doesn't work. That exactly what happened hence my criticism of Jose's selection/tactics yesterday.

    Relegation was completely avoidable this season, we shouldn't be in a position with 3 games to go where he still doesn't know or have a settled first 11. As you say even if he wasn't here he should have known or remaining staff at the club could have told him Bradshaw can't play a lone striker at this level, you don't need to be a coaching genius to quickly work that one out either. When it sunk in on Saturday with the team selection I just couldn't believe what he had done to wreck my teams chance of staying up.

    I wouldn't say relegation was completely avoidable. We were always going to be down there with this lot.

    We could maybe have made a better fist of things, but in the great scheme of things, nothings totally avoidable. Sunderland are testament to that.

    Previous regime dreadful for 12months, I just think that the teams around us have been so poor that we have had ample opportunity to avoid relegation, leeds were dreadful yesterday and there for the taking but I can not accept any manager playing Bradshaw as the 1 in a 451 when you have Moore and Mcburnie to pick from. We certainly weren't set up as 433 Bradshaw was completely on his own and can't do it in this division with our squad supporting him, do why on earth did Jose play it when it really was so important that we gave our selves the best opportunity we could.

    The games and points were there for us Burton Bolton Leeds Norwich Bristol city etc, we have competed in every game so the quality is good enough to be 4th bottom at least we have just kept missing out and since Jose got here it's that he still doesn't know his best side and that's what's cost us, a bit more of a settled side and we could easily have been 3 points better off.
