I ain't watching that lot. 5 of their next 6 matches on sky. Taking the mickey
Don't Sky ask clubs which home fixtures they'd like to televise? And then they all say Leeds because they know that's the fixture least likely to jeopardise ticket sales as they sell out wherever they go?
Still not on mind. Who on earth actually wants to watch Leeds, which is what Sky should take into consideration rather than what the football clubs want.
Isn’t it more a case that the M.D. of Sky Sports is a Leeds Scummer?
I'm hoping to bathe in the long drawn out car crash of his tenure.
TV ratings init. Whenever Leeds play sky reckon there viewings are up about 25% on the average.
Just out of interest, how do they measure viewing figures? Can companies see what we're watching? How does it work for recorded programmes?
They have a few thousand boxes in people's homes. This is a selection of people who represent the various demographic groups. That way they can use statistics to extrapolate to a certain precision how many people were watching in total.
So no, unless you're watching online, they can't see what you're watching.
Cheers mate, often wondered how they did it.
You're welcome. There's more on the site of the organisation that does the measuring:
It may be great viewing if the players don't take to him and they use the games to protest getting thumped 5-0 every week. Could be hilarious.
