    Thought we were after a full back? And did you find out why Linton left more or less straight after this transfer that seemed strange to me unless it was a coincidence

    I think your right even if we had offered winnall to other clubs no other would have gave him 18k a week.... my mate who follows leeds couldn't believe it he said even chris wood isnt on that

    I think hopper forestieri and hooper are on 100k a week between them! Mental isn't it.

    Really does demonstrate 1) what we are up against and 2) how amazing we are doing as a club.

    So............. they are quality and below championship level............can either of them (as they are attacking) hold the ball up?
    I do think we lack someone who can do this efficiently, when we beat Blackburn the other week I was watching Danny Graham and how well he did it......funnily enough I was talking a total stranger coming out of the ground who stated the same and said well if Winnall goes Id love somebody like Graham. I then checked the old internet to find out (according to Sunderland press) he was on £38k per week with them the previous season! Dunno what Blackburn are paying him this season but my god.........that is the disparity we are dealing with, it made me feel good that we have done as well as we have so far
