Still can't see why the penalty was given, none of those around me either. That knocked the stuffing out of us, as up to that point just before half-time we were playing well and building up momentum, with Hammill hitting the crossbar with a great shot on the run.

We'd had an awkward first ten minutes or so as they pressed, but we then came back back into it- until that bizarre penalty award. Of course when 2-0 up they began to stroke it around full of confidence.

2nd half I thought we should have been awarded a penalty when Armstrong was barged off the ball when bearing down on goal.

    12 v 12 today.

Fulham's eleven + the ref, against our eleven + the support, which in the first half was tremendous.

It was one of the softest penalties I've seen in a long time.

What was MacDonald adjudged to have done?

I've no idea, and it was right in front of us, as was Armstrong being felled in the area in 2nd half also in front of our support.

No idea. I couldn't see anything despite seeing it from about five angles. Pushing and shoving like you see in every game when a corner is being taken but somehow the ref saw a foul worthy of a penalty.

If it was a penalty so was the Armstrong incident in the second half.

From one angle looked like the player waited for Mcdonald to put his arm on him and then threw himself down. Conned the ref

Was the softest penalty ever there lad literally threw himself to the ground, McDonald had a hand on him but then there lad was grabbing McDonald too. ref was shocking throughout however.
