    After listening how confident hecky was about bringing in 4 players on Monday I would think he would be gutted to not get at least a couple in by weekend

    Saw Madine on Sunday for Bolton and without being a world beater he showed us what we're missing.Strength and ability to hold the ball then lay it off. Simple stuff but effective.

    True, but if the club dont make any statements they get criticised & when they do people accuse them of lying or stringing them along. I just get the feeling whatever they do, they cant win.

    Not sure why people are using this to bash the club. Again. We don't know

    A) if it's true
    B) who it was/is
    C) what the reasons were

    It could be *****. If it isn't then it may have been a L1 player like Grigg or Maden, and his agents might have wanted £10k or £15k a week. Or it may have been they would only sign a 2 year deal.

    Slight over reaction to a rumour.

    I'll feel like I've been strung along if they don't sign .Hecky must have been pretty certain they would sign when he worded the answer to the question in that way . Three days later and no-one has signed . It could be embarrassing . We'll soon see I suppose .
