They seem to be of the opinion that they are better off without us, saying we'd probably do well and maybe win the league. They reckon the relegated teams are basket cases. Nice to see we are highly rated, even in our darkest hour.
I noticed that.Feels like deja vu tbh on their board, hoping for a takeover, thinking they're going to piss the league etc etc.
Honestly i like their forum. Always go on for a bit of a look at the banter. Cracking thread about Spurs' name on there at the minute, OP is a bit simple i think, and is getting rightly jested.
Me too. That thread is brilliant. There's 49 pages of it though and I've got stuff to do so I'm going to save it for later and just ponder this for a while: "Wolves is their first real name like Dave instead of David. You certainly wouldn't say the real name of someone called David Hotspur is Spurs" https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/spurs-the-only-team.1459150/page-3#post-29005529
I know we didn't like 'em for a bit while they were giving League One the Sheff Wednesday treatment for their first season down there but they really are a good bunch of fans. I don't begrudge them any success.
I totally agree with you, one of the fan boards that I have a look on more for the humour than anything else. The fact they call us Barselyona in a few threads always makes me laugh.
Seriously, it's actually worth sacrificing your whole day for. It gets better: "Wolverhampton is their first name so like William you can say Bill. Hotspur is second name so not real name if changed. Good example would be William Shatner - Bill Shatner, not William Atners"
They shouldn't still have such an high opinion of themselves because thinking they are below the level they should be at is part of the reason they are in division three. Sunderland, Hull, Charlton, Posh, Donny, Ipswich, Pompey. Even if those are all in the top six it means one side will feel they have underachieved. Then you have clubs like Fleetwood who will expect to be up there again. I am very happy that instead of trying to get promoted in what looks like the toughest league one in years we get to try and stay up with a groundless Coventry, local rival in -12 and teams with smaller budgets than ours like Rotherham, Wycombe and Luton.
Its ******* mint that forum. Excellent sense of humor even when they are hammering each other it just comes out brilliantly lol
There probley right I cant see any of the 3 relegated sides doing much in league one next season charlton and wigan may not even get started and hull are in free fall with poor owners.
