Your original post could be taken at face value as someone who thinks Moore has no skill and that you're disgusted with his presence on the planet.

Which would have been accurate up until at least half time cos he was dogshite.

Either side of his goal he was poor. Didn't even hit the target with a couple of good positions, didn't read the offside trap for his disallowed goal and touch of a elephant when he chests the ball and goes away from him.

It wasnt a good performance by him, his goal is blinding judgement, but luckily at this level you get away with it more.

Just to say Terry I wasn't having a go at you particularly. Every player is allowed a bad game and everyone is entitled to say so. I do it myself. It's just the amount of hysteria and knee jerk reaction on here recently,(not from you) is doing my head in to the point where coming on here is not particularly enjoyable.
I enjoy this board, I've been on here a long while and it irks me that some idiots spoil it for the majority spouting ill thought out and often deliberately provocative nonsense. Again..not you.

I think the problem is across all social media and society as a whole. Everything is read like there's evil in the words, they look at everything with such negative intent these days.

Everything is black and white, everyone is diametrically opposed to someone else's views. You see it in political posts, you see it when talking about a player, you are either a happy clapper or a conan.

It means that this place along with most social media has become a dark place to chat. It used to be like you are in the pub chatting to people, which is what it was originally set up to be. Its now so far removed from that its untrue.

I still enjoy this board, but its so fractured to read sometimes it makes posting rather pointless, you know its going to end up with some one reading your post differently to its intention and causing an argument where loads join in and pick a side.

There’s a guy that sits behind me and called him a “muppet” all game today and has slated him all season. Our top scorer and he’s giving him non stop grief, it’s barmy. Although he used to do it with Winnall so I’m not surprised anymore.

I’ll admit, Kieffer’s touch could be a bit better and today it wasn’t great but he still scored a goal (and a great one at that) that contributed to us winning the game.

Every time he scores I turn round to give him a look as if to say “did you see that?”

He's the best striker we have had at the club for a long time. I would choose Moore over Winnall and there are plenty of clubs who would swap Moore for their striker.

Agreed. It's always difficult in print as you can't always pick the tone of the text. There's a lot of folk it's possible to disagree with on here and still have a sensible discussion. There are some, and there seem to be more though who just want to yell and kick off and act like idiots.
Acido won't like this though I haven't been on there in ages, but Tykesmad where I used to post years ago became such a kindergarten that moving to here was like sanctuary. I'd hate this place to become the same.

He is by some distance the most important player we have in terms of getting promoted. Not great today but then he isn’t a robot.

No but he is good on the ground taking players on. That was his game earlier in the season, and he scored goals with it, and it’s disappointing he doesn’t do so much of it now

I can understand why Ipswich released him. No way is he a top Championship striker at the moment. Whether he can be coached to have better control when the ball is on the floor, remains to be seen.

He’s a decent league 1 player as he is showing. But nowhere near Championship quality and he never will be. There’s a reason Mick McCarthy sold him.
If reports are true and Sunderland are going to offer us £2 million then I think that would be good business. Making a profit on a player with little potential left.

And no I am not a Sunderland fan on the wind up.
So who am I then DusThaKno?

He was on the wing second half. WTF is that about? We won today. We were poor. We are now 3rd though, so hurrah. COYR

Didn't think both Moore and Woodrow had particularly good games today, but both scored with good finishes. Most of the team had a day when their touch wasn't good, even those who's touch is usually top drawer like Mowatt.

We seem to have short memories. Before he came, we played high balls up to Bradshaw who never won a header - the defence was constantly under pressure cos the strikers couldn’t retain the ball! Kieffer can! Didn’t have a particularly good game today but aids the team no end! Also good defending corners etc! Sell to Sunderland? Be careful what you wish for!

Let’s not pretend his all round games like that every week to prove some kind of point.

Normally he’s good at holding the ball up & bringing others into play.

Strangely his two worst performances in open play were in my opinion yesterday & at Accrington & in both he scored. Not bad when you’ve had a crap game & still score

And McCarthy didn’t get rid because he didn’t rate him he got rid because he had to sell players to balance the books all the time he was in charge at Ipswich
