I agree about domestic solar, but the orientations and pitches of a roof have to work.

And you’d hope new builds would have suitable pitches and orientations to allow that, even if retrofitted.

And yes, it’s what we do with windows and shutters. Closed all day, open all evening.

The galling thing I noted, we must have seen maybe 30 houses, maybe more and I’d say 75% of them had upgraded their heating system… to incorporate a wood burner.
