A build is just when someone, usually flogging an android box, preinstalls loads of addons. Many of which are badly built and/or unsupported. They just slow your box down. Kinda like when you buy a laptop from pc world and it comes with loads of bloatware on it.

Cheers guys. I bought the stick off Amazon, a mate put Kodi on (Jarvis), clean install. He left it up to me to put add-ons on. Thanks for your help, I have put Adrian and Halow on just now. Fingers crossed.

wookie lite is updated every 2-3 weeks so as long as you have the latest one the addons are usually all active.

for the layman i think its easier to just install a single build rather than the addons one by one.

that said i agree about the surplus addons you end up with - however being naturally idle, i stick with wookie.

as i dont keep abreast of addon developments i would be unlikely to find new ones myself - wookie does it for me.

as usual - personal preference, there is no right or wrong way to use kodi.
