Unless I've missed it i can't understand why we ain't got any deals on for good friday especially but why not both games. Summat like take a mate for 12 quid or kids for a quid. Rather see 18000 there than 12000 again.
It's one of those rare occasions where I agree with you. If folk don't want to come now they never will.
Why did you find a need to post that? It's ok for you to come across as an ok person from time to time.
Because I expected you to come back with a partially snide response so I thought I would put in a similar comment. On reflection I agree it was unnecessary. I agree with your original comment.
Is it always a case of people not wanting to come though. Some might not be able to afford both games. I went yesterday and as it happens the next one I can go to is Blackpool. However, I don't have the money for more than two games per month anyway.
Can't really answer that question. Everyone's circumstances are different. Some people go without to pay for tickets, travel etc others don't. Some can afford to spend money on whatever they like plus football while others can't. If I was picking and choosing I'd have probably missed yesterday to go to the last two of the season.
Exactly. I'd be there every week if I could. As it stands, I'm there when I can afford it. What I can afford depends on how long it's been, how big the game is, or what else I've got to pay for this month.
Probably a bit of both mate. There definitely seems to be a large number that wait until the season defining game before jumping on though. We all have different levels of attachment to it though I suppose, from the hardcore 500 or so that do every single game, through to the good time boys and girls. Plenty of the latter frequent my village though. During the premier league season they were our biggest fans, but have sadly dwindled and come out of the woodwork for the Wembleys. I put mini busses on for the FA Cup semi, and it was really funny listening to the shared stories of away days. They only had the big games or the promotion seasons to talk about.
For me they might as well put Shrewsbury 300 fans in west terrace and 4000 school kids in North stand. Anyway can't wait till Friday then Sunderland v Donny on sky at 5pm.
There's still replies coming based on that person's situation and what they can afford to do. Bonkers.
The people of this town are always going to want summat for nowt. There's an entitlement that people have, be it dole, housing, employment, whatever. People always reckon they should get special treatment, that they should get more just for being them. It is embarrassing.
You're talking ********. The product is over-priced for its regularity. If they want the people to come more often, who can't commit to the whole season, they need to make some concessions. It's a simple case of not being able to afford it, not wanting summat for nowt.
I can't afford a Ferrari, guess they better start making some concessions. It's a business, not a charity.
