So the non foreign manager is Adam Murray.
Why don,t they go for one that,s some good ie Darren Moore or Paul cook with a track record.

Darren Moore - good? Based on what his long time as a manager?
Paul Cook - track record? Spent all of his time except last 2 years in Lg2 and 1 year in Lg1, in his last 2 spent some serious coin too.
I wouldn’t object to either of them being given a chance and I’m not saying either aren't or won’t turn out to be good managers but it’s stretching a bit to use either as a good example.

I’m not anti the principle of another German coach. I’m anti only considering German/Austrian coaches. I’m also anti venture capitalists deciding what style of football should be played, and refusing to budge from that.

A better record than Murray's though and over a longer period of time.

Out of interest, who should decide the style of play?

Good interview. But did anyone else think the bit about the financials was a bit weird when talking about free agents.

Not being able to offer a contract until they have appointed a head coach incase they can't afford the contract offered or words to that effect.

Surely there's money in the budget for the new head coach salary, of which we received compensation circa 1.8m to put in the pot and a free agent striker

Just seemed a strange thing to say

Yes, just comes across as bull$hit personally. Gives the impression that their looking and trying but in reality it's probably not something that will happen.

Can't take to the bloke, probably a nice guy etc but just another puppet that's good at spieling corporate jargon.

I listened to it and like you thought similar but later thought maybe he could mean depending on what new coach wants player wise, in other words instead of taking on a player on a good wage, keep that back for Coaches choice, even if for Jan.

To be honest I don't think the problem was up front. I think it was how the team was set up. I've every faith that Woodrow will start scoring now the teams has started attacking the opposition goal again.

I thought it was just they didn't want to buy someone and then the next coach doesn't rate them and thus have wasted money. I got the impression they had agreements in place with a number of players and were waiting for the new coach to choose which,if any, he wanted.

If it's Ishmael the new striker might be Thomas Brolin, Atilio Lombardo or Bruce Dyer.

They aren't only considering them though. They are considering a French national and an Englishman.
