    They were his team mates at Crystal Palace. Shipperley was there too at the same time and Paul Warhurst. I know it's tenuous. I'll get my coat.

    Wow, I never know all those 3 played for Palace at the same time as Ishmael.

    Funny story re Warhurst. When we got promoted to the PL, when I had booked my STs at the Ticket Office (on the Friday morning when they came out) I went into the ground and the players were all walking onto the pitch for a team photo. I remember getting all the players autographs on my ST letter, then asking DW if we were signing Paul Warhurst from Blackburn. He said he couldn't tell me lol :)

    We signed him in the end in 2003. He had a smashing debut. I didn't realise how many ex palace players we've had. There's Kevin Miller, Geoff Thomas and David Tuttle aswell.

    I know 6 years too late, didn't he get sent off on his debut against Wednesday? then only lasted a month

    Yeah I can't remember but think we were 1-0 up from an Anthony Kay goal. Game went downhill after he got sent off and we drew 1-1.
