[QUOTE = "steel grate, post: 2038953, member: 6927"] I have a bank connection in Norderstedt, near Hamburg, so a transfer would be easier for you. Not cheap though, would be about € 40 !!!! I am willing to help you. [/ QUOTE] Transferring small amounts of money into different currency is much cheaper with Transferwise. Usually costs me £2 ish for a 13 euro transfer and you get a better exchange rate than the banks (£25 through Barclays) https://transferwise.com/u/garyu
You've got no chance of geting tickets i'm afraid. The funny thing is, we get this everytime we play Leeds at home. European "fans" often turn up and say they are "ground-hoppers" I have seen it for myself. Strangley enough, we never get any for Reading or Burton at home. The club are quite right to refuse them.
Okay then... Oh, by the way. My friend from Mönchengladbach was there last season against Forest, which was live on TV. He’s a groundhopper. As is my Dutch friend who was also at the match after Feyenoord played Manchester United the day before. You’ve just made a right arse of yourself.

Update: I've been in contact with the lad, sadly he's no longer interested as the price is far far too high. The club would have let me have a ticket for him but I would have to have taken responsibility if he eventually turned out to be a L***s fan. He sounded genuine though, he may consider a future match in a different category.
The lad was genuinely shocked when he heard the price. He's looking for another game locally at a more reasonable price, if he lets me know I'll put it on here. Traurig aber wahr.
Strange really , if you are paying for flights , hotel , food etc , a tenner extra on a ticket should not put you off
I’ve sorted tickets out for 6 foreigners and they’ve all commented on the price of a ticket. It is ridiculous. I hope all our new visitors have a great day out at BFC, buy themselves something nice from the club shop and go back home and tell all their friends what a f*cking great club Barnsley Football Club is. Here’s hoping they don’t meet any backwards idiots like Spuggy who feel they shouldn’t be there.
Shame he wasnt here a couple of weeks ago for the Birmingham game - that was much better priced Donny and Rotherham are both at home
I honestly think it's a disgrace. I've been a fan for several decades, but I wouldn't go near Oakwell for that price if I didn't have a season ticket. I can understand why the club do it, and I realise it's a money spinner as the L***s end will be sold out, but it's simply too much. I stayed away from the Fowls match for the same reason.
Have you seen the fixtures or that weekend and do you understand how groundhopping works? That’s not a dig mate, but I’m a groundhopper myself and the trips are usually with the intention of doing more than one game. Rotherham Doncaster and Sheffield United also play at home on the Saturday, and Hudds on the Sunday. That’s just in the top 4 divisions, plenty of non league on the go too.
