I am trying to get my head around 100,000+ people being allowed on a outdoor beach, but Football stadiums with far less, also outdoors having to have reduced capacity. It should be who wants to go can and if anyone who's bought a pass doesn't feel like returning yet for any reason (health, travel time etc) they should be able to still see the match on iFollow.
out of interest, what do you think the current total of Englands population outside of institutes currently have Covid... 5% 3% 0.05% 10% 23%
I make informed decisions that are based on common sense, not based on the ramblings of conspiracy nuts on Facebook.
The government made such a monumental fk up of the initial wave allowing it into old folks homes to kill thousands, there’s no political good will left in the country. They’ve got a certain amount of R credit to spend and Tory voters will not forgive the government if schools don’t reopen, they don’t generally care about football fans. Hence it’s a Political decision, as they all are, about what is allowed and what isn’t.
Common sense like not being able to visit your family , but go to the pub or cinema, dont wear a mask because you won't catch the virus there will you?
He called it a Faux-Pandemic. Much of the current 'advice' is inconsistent to say the least, but to call it a Faux-Pandemic is lunacy.
And yet, after 5 months all you have is ‘I don’t like it’. No ideas about how we could have done it better even with months of hindsight.
Give me a compelling reason that a Tory government just crashed the economy and put over a million on the dole? Because ‘they can control us’ doesn’t make any rational sense, they already create the laws.
Because they’re incompetent, and weak against the heavy pressure applied by the media and public who they’ve frightened into idiocy.
Step back and read that. A Tory government, whose actual raison d’etre is to make money for the rich has destroyed the economy... because of the media. have a look who controls the media and how close to the government and Tory party that is; and you’ll see how ridiculous that is for a premise.
No, you're right, they've definitely prioritised the economy and kept it in tip-top condition. Come on, you're just being absurdist now for the sake of being contrarian. Why are you making us guess motive? The simple fact is they have destroyed both public health and the economy with the lockdown and you won't acknowledge these simple and obvious truths and are instead raising daft theoretical questions around the periphery.
