I think we can blame all the off field stuff, bad recruitment etc. Fact is the games that have defined our season have all been bottle jobs.

You are not wrong. The big problem is those last 3 games. 1 point from Luton & Stoke just wasn't enough. Wigan will be tough & Leeds, Brentford & Forest are all in the fight for the playoffs. We might get something vs Forest, but can't see us taking anything from Leeds or Brentford.

I'm less worried about who we're playing in those last three games because it isn't a normal situation behind closed doors.

Leeds are Leeds. Who knows what team will turn up depending on the pressure they could be under from Brentford.

Forest will likely be assured a playoff place. Any opportunity to rest players after this run of games is going to be taken with open arms.

Brentford might be confirmed in the playoffs (and resting the first team) or in with a chance of automatic still. That brings it's own pressures for both teams and no fans there to swing it in their favour. Emotional days don't always work out with a fairy tale ending.

Wigan is a very, very tough game. Huge importance for both teams, they're in form too, but again there's no reason we can't get three points on Saturday.

Our overall record against Wigan is pretty bad. But our home record against them is atrocious!

They’re in great form and will be buoyed by their win last night. I think it’ll be a tough match.

And so was our away form at QPR. This is a time for standing things on their heads. All to play for still but will we do it?

I understand the pessimism but come on we’re 6th in last 10 games form table! Easily capable of staying up but gonna be so much harder with the nay sayers!

The crazy thing is that if we win on Saturday we're actually in with a decent chance! Especially if Wednesday get a points deduction too, then it's really on!

The real question now is whether the players still believe

I think we’re gone but we have to get back on level terms with Hull by the weekend. We need to win & hope they lose against Millwall.

The problem then is that they play both Luton & Wigan. We could probably do with them games been drawn & us getting at least 4 points from our final 3 games to give us a chance.

Wonder what odds you could get that the present bottom 3 will not get relegated given the fact the piggies and Wigan could face point reductions... Especially seeing that it's tight at the bottom end of the table .......
