Despite your ramblings tonight, I actually fully agree with this. So many Barnsley folk have been led to believe the utter, utter nonsense from the tax avoiding media and MPs. I worked in a Sainsbury's local a few years back in a suburb of barnsley and the amount of people buying the Sun and reading their disgusting lies was depressing.

Edit: and there's one of them directly above my post

What's colonel Corbyn's leave policy apart from another referendum?

Everyone knows Colonel Corbyn's a leaver but hasn't the ****** to stick with his principles as it would cost him votes in another election he's been wanting for the last 2 years but when Boris offers him the opportunity he turns it down because his Marxist principles have Labour in the polls miles below the Conservatives. Pity he doesn't move to his ideal country of Venezuela, look how their economy is fairing. Be the same in this country if god forbid he was PM.

You do know how the Labour Party works don’t you ? On second thoughts clearly not .
Who says it’s his ideal country?
And even if it were true the Labour Party is ten times more democratic than the Tory Party ever was ,is will ever be and that’s fact not boast .

You're right, let's check his voting record.

    • Consistently voted against raising welfare benefits at least in line with prices
    • Consistently voted against paying higher benefits over longer periods for those unable to work due to illness or disability
    • Almost always voted for making local councils responsible for helping those in financial need afford their council tax and reducing the amount spent on such
    • Almost always voted for a reduction in spending on welfare benefits
    • Almost always voted against spending public money to create guaranteed jobs for young people who have spent a long time unemployed
    • Almost always voted against increasing the tax rate applied to income over £150,000
    • Almost always voted against a banker’s bonus tax
    • Generally voted against higher taxes on banks
    • Almost always voted for more restrictive regulation of trade union activity
    • Almost always voted for reducing the rate of corporation tax
    • Voted for raising England’s undergraduate tuition fee cap to £9,000 per year
    • Voted for ending financial support for some 16-19 year olds in training and further education
    • Generally voted against transferring more powers to the Scottish Parliament
    • Generally voted against more powers for local councils
    • Consistently voted for selling England’s state owned forests
    • Generally voted against measures to prevent climate change
    • Generally voted against financial incentives for low carbon emission electricity generation methods
    • Generally voted against greater public control of bus services

The Labour party is run by the unions. How is that 10 times more democratic than the Tory Party.
Is this the man you want running the country:

In 1986, Corbyn was arrested with 15 demonstrators protesting against the trial of a group of IRA members including the Brighton Bomber Patrick Magee. Magee would be found guilty of murdering five people. After refusing police requests to move from outside the court, Corbyn and the other protesters were arrested for obstruction and held for five hours before being released on bail, but were not charged.[76] Following the 1987 Loughgall ambush, in which eight IRA members and one civilian were shot dead by the British Army in an operation to defend a police station, Corbyn attended a commemoration by the Wolfe Tone Society and stated "I'm happy to commemorate all those who died fighting for an independent Ireland."[77][78]

Oliver Letwin has publicly announced that he will be voting for the WA when it is time. However, voting for the WA today would have put probably the most important decision in Parliament (since the last May deal vote) with less consideration time that a mobile phone contract - at least with that, you could hand the phone back within a fortnight if you didn't like the small print.

There are no impact assessments, there are no details in the withdrawal agreement, yet MPs were expected to vote on something agreed on Thursday without proper consultation.

He might be a Tory. He might have voted to make the poor, poorer. But on this he does deserve some respect. It is important for everyone that this WA is given full and proper consideration - however long that takes - and not rushed through against an artificially imposed deadline by the PM.

You cannot control where your parents sent you to school. He did *however* end up divorcing his wife after arguments about sending his kids to private schools (he was against).

Please tell me how the unions are running the party ?
Please tell me how big buisness men are not running the Tory Party .
Corbyn was a big part of why we have peace in Northern Ireland . His actions are well documented in more than the Sun or Mail .

To be clear, Letwin wanted to vote for the deal Boris offered, his motion was to stop further no deal risks, which to be fair only the complete raving lunatics want.

On 28 June, he lost the vote of confidence by Labour Party MPs by 172–40.[162] He responded with a statement that the motion had no "constitutional legitimacy" and that he intended to continue as the elected leader. The vote did not require the party to call a leadership election, but was expected to lead to a leadership challenge.[163][164] Corbyn was encouraged to resign by Tom Watson and senior Labour politicians including his predecessor, Ed Miliband.[165] Several union leaders (from GMB, UCATT, the CWU, the TSSA, ASLEF, the FBU, the BFWAU and the NUM) issued a joint statement saying that Corbyn was "the democratically-elected leader of Labour and his position should not be challenged except through the proper democratic procedures provided for in the party's constitution" and that a leadership election would be an "unnecessary distraction".[166]
