Aren't we supposed to be building a team rather than perpetually dismantling one?

Why sell now? There are no contract length issues, we don't need the money and we want to stop in this league.

If they offer 6m he's gone . Buy low sell high , this is the business plan we all love and hate .

Lewis Dunk & Shane Duffy have been immense can’t see how he would get in their team..

Pinnock and Lindsay have the potential to be the best CB pairing in Championship next season. If we have any hope of building a strong side, that offer (if true) should be rejected.

Reject. Too low an offer, no pressure to sell.

Up it to 10 million and thereabouts and can’t refuse then provided we have someone signed, sealed, in the building to replace him, all forms signed and the bloody fax machine works.

Surely this is where the difference of owners come in. It's alright saying take the £6m but he's our best player alongside Williams and like others have said has the potential to get even better. I'd have loved to have seen him alongside Mawson.

Cheers , so basically its paper talk from Scotland , I would not take any notice of that, but if there are any mutterings coming from the south coast , then there may be some credence in it , until then forget it

This is the way to unsettle a player... in any club.
Now he's going to swan around thinking how great he is and is too good for the likes of Barnsley. (heard this so many times before, haven't we)
Once unsettled his agent will tempt him with riches beyond imagination.... followed by a transfer signing photograph on Patrick's funeral day.
And you think this is tosh???

Think some of you should concentrate more on players coming in rather than taking as gospel every little negative coming from obscure newspapers

We don`t half get carried away - can`t we settle for them being promising without outrageous claims.

Lets hope Billy Beane's spreadsheet is showing #N/A in the "sell Y/N" column.

Pinnock appears to be way better than him. I di however agree potentially best partnership in division

It's good money but it would be ridiculous to weaken our team further at this point. He'll only get better and similar bids will be forthcoming in the future. Absolutely reject and strengthen for now.

Lindsays defending is pretty good but im unimpressed with his distribution whenever he trys playing a long pass if frequently misses the mark giving the opposition the ball back (It showed more on saturday with no DM dropping in the hole to receive the ball).
He's young and in an inexperienced side so this season will be the biggest learning curve of his career as it will many others. £6 milliuon is crazy money for where he's at currently but theres a lot to work with and maybe in a season or 2 time he will be worth double that. I do think Pinnock will become the better of the 2.

In view of our precarious league position I don’t think we should be considering offers for any of our players including Yiadom. Relegation would cost us £6m in an instant. I realise
that we could still be relegated and Yiadom would walk away for nothing but at least we will have given survival our best shot

In today’s mental world, £6m isn’t that much any more. Just one good season can double that.
