Really enjoyed all the bands I watched, in particular Edenthorn. Hope the organisers take note of the rip off bars though. Went to watch Black vines in Starco, no draught drinks at all. Cans and bottles of Lager only. Carling £2.80 a can and not even properly chilled. Che bar Carlsberg £3.90 a pint, no draught beer.

Irish bar 3.40 for a pint of cider?
Sure it's not normally that much. Shouldn't be ripping off the hordes that turned out yesterday.
(and 4.90 for a bottle of magners in the new bar which used to be part of walkabout)

There's nowt the organisers can do about that really. I remember last year @Fearless Tyke and the rest of the organisers got grief on FaceBook for pubs running out of beer and over charging. This has nothing to do with them. They make sure (a) there is a sound system, (b) there's live music and (c) the bands keep to time to allow punters to choose who they watch. The previous year's organisers and this year's all did their jobs brilliantly.

Spot on mate and very gracious of you to say. Gutted to miss it yesterday but had a brill day at Wentworth festival.Glad the new people kept the same sort of format and chuffed it went well for them. It really is the best day out in tarn all year and I can honestly say in the years we did it there was no trouble anywhere, just music loving folk having a great time. Looks like it'll go on for some years which can only be good for those who play, those who go anD the town itself. Superb.

Never entered my head that the prices charged could in any way be linked to the organiser's: that would be plain daft.

No criticism of organisers from me, in fact exactly the opposite, it was a great day with fantastic bands and music. Perhaps, if the ever have a surplus of venues then these things can be looked at.

It is indeed, should wear my reading glasses more often. Rarely go up that end of Tarn drinking so not familiar with change in pubs names.
