    Have you read the Koran?

This is partly what I'm talking about. People form opinions of a certain race or religion based on what media outlets tell them.

    Yes I've read the Koran.

Unlike just about every lefty defender of the Islamic faith.

Politicians like May and Clinton coming out with lies like "it's just a very small minority", "Islam is a religion of peace" and "Muslims are tolerant" doesn't help anyone IMO, it's just another way to ignore the elephant in the room.

scoff, you dont need to be able to speak arabic to read the quran and theres several ways to spell it in the english translation. If you look hard enough you can have it read to you for free, online.

Technically, you are reading a translation of the Quran. Now, I am sure most online versions are fairly accurate, but can you be certain that the version you are reading (and basing your views of the religion on) is an accurate translation? - it will be subject to interpretation by the translators.

The Arabic language itself is much more difficult to translate than Latin based languages (like English or French) and individual words may have a number of different meanings. The Muslims themselves insist on reciting it in Arabic and believe that version is the only true one.

no,i cant be certain, but like you say i'll wager they are fairly accurate and its not the translations that are the problem but the interpretations.

I have read the Koran and the Hadith, Hadith is more interesting, much of the Koran is actually Old Testament tales retold.

In what sense. As in at risk of blowing some ****** up or for their general viewpoint.

There will be several thousand people over all creeds who do not follow islam on the polices radar in terms of their politiks. Tommy Robinson and closer to home Dale Kelk as two examples off the top of my head.
However, in terms of % of population being 'earmarked' as potential terrorists it still lies within one community.

There is still a blissful ignorance on the more extreme forms of islam in the UK whether its not being able to grasp the situation or attempting not to upset the minority.

As hundreds return battle hardened from the middle east.

How many people has Tommy Robinson shot, blown up or run over exactly? Resources spent on following him round would have been better spent on Masood.
