Whats all this conspiracy stuff based on? More social media carp. There is no evidence whatsoever that Collins lost the dressing room. None. Its all supposition but as with all supposition these days it gets morphed into reality. Where is the actual information for this? There isn't any. Its all supposition because there have been some carp results
I posted after the Portsmouth game that no way could he have lost the dressing room after taking them on for 80 minutes. A performance we all got behind. Then came Blackpool. And you wonder just how a team can look so different
I have no evidence that he lost (or didn't) the dressing room. But it's just one of those things that often gets trotted out wherever a team loses form or players aren't perceived as giving their all. Actually, one thing that might have contributed to our caused the rumour is Kane disappearing straight up the touchline after getting subbed against Lincoln.
We were absolute crap. But we also clawed 2 goals back after going 3-0 down. You don't see teams doing that when they're not motivated, they go on to lose 5-0. We're not a very good team, but we keep going, get a lot of results from doing that, and that is not indicative of a team who don't play for the manager.
nope. i see a lot of these posts and theyre all assumptive. No evidence. Id like to see some concrete posts (or some wooden posts) that have some incisive genuine explanation instead of the constant ill-informed carp. No fish except for my use of carp
This is a very good point - if he's lost the dressing room why do they play like that at Portsmouth? Or the second half against Burton?
Even while the results haven't been going our way, we've consistently shown signs of a fight back. If he'd lost the dressing room, you'd see players downing tools and us slumping to 3 and 4 goal defeats on a regular basis. We came from behind twice against Reading to draw, and even at the weekend, we pulled 2 goals back despite the overall lacklustre performance.
There is no hidden mystery, the players are just not good enough, don't expect to see miracles Saturday.
I haven’t seen a single social media post from any player at the club showing any kid of discontent either. That’s not been the case under other managers.
I'm not saying he lost the dressing room (he has now though, as they've probably taken the keys off of him), or that some of the players have downed tools. However, we keep hearing about how porous the defense is, but if you look at the first 7 months, it wasn't too bad, especially compared to the attack. However, what the hell has gone wrong in the last 2 months?
I think he very well may have lost the confidence of the dressing room but I don't think he ever lost the effort of the dressing room. Whether they believed in his tactics or not I think the vast majority continued to play for him to the very end
Good enough mind you to be playing well and leading the league champions at Portsmouth for 80 minutes....., ....until a free header ruined the night.
