Whoever is the best keeper. The thing with Steele, not only was he a fantastic shot stopper... and did come for crosses, and was fast to bowl the ball out (granted kicking was flaky)... but he was also articulate and intelligent and came across superbly in interviews. I recall him doing the come dine with me send up too, which suggests he can be a character as well. But i'd expect him to be a championship goalkeeper next season. Its not just about us cutting cloth accordingly under FFP, but also how less attractive we are to people who have a shot at being in a higher league.
I think he'd come back as a number one choice two yr deal option for third or a coaching role etc but whilst ever we drag this manager lark on someone is likely to snap him up before us.
I suspect like 99.9% of players.... he'll go to the club which has the most attractive offer at the highest level.
