What about Pinnock. No pace whatsoever. Lindsay was bringing the ball out of defence (Stones-like) and apart from the shirt pull, was certainly the better of our two central defenders.

Me too. It was the way he was going forward with the ball in the second half that impressed me most. Wish he hadn't pulled their player down in the box, thought we were very lucky to get away with it, but other than that I thought he looked classy.

If the goal isn't wrongly disallowed, it's 1-1 and a totally different game.

Different game, same outcome. Last week could have been a different game had they scored their penalty.

I've got every faith in these lads turning games round and also Stendel making the right changes to change things.

Could have, should have is no substitute for having a really good team like we have at the moment.

People will moan like **** when things aren't so good, so may as well enjoy the ride for now without reservations.

Pinnock is the one Lindsay looks for to take the ball out of defence. Both had good games today imo pinnock has been great this season wouldn't be surprised if clubs come sniffing for him in January.

Luton got what they deserved nowt. We were the better side by some distance. As for the Lindsay Jackson debate I like both but we look a tighter better team with Lindsay in it.

About time someone else sees the same player as me

The lad is a liability from set plays or balls that are hit into the box at pace. The one where their centre half headed it on from a free kick and it just whistled past the post, Pearson flung himself at it and Lindsay gave up half way through

I’ve lost count the amount he does that and his distribution is often abysmal... but he’s only young and you can see the potential there so willing to see if he lives up to the hype

Can’t blame them for moaning, they lost 3-2 & had a perfectly good goal disallowed. If it happened to us we’d all be moaning.

It’s irrelevant that we were the better team & created far more chances.

The facts are both teams scored 3 goals each so they’re right to feel aggrieved that only 2 counted & they’re going home with no points

The free kick count must have been 90% to them all game

It's relevant when some of them are saying they were the best team and deserved a draw AT LEAST.

Well that’s just daft, we ought to have finished them off long before the pen

But that's the whole point of my post at the top of thread. Their manager even said we were to strong for them, yet our own fans are bigging them up and looking to criticise our own players when we've won and again scored 3 goals.

I was just referring to ‘Luton fans not happy with officials’. Can’t see what Luton did in open play for anyone to big them up.

We had a couple of dodgy performers but to get 3 points & play the better football without Moore, Dougall & Davies against a side 8th in the league has to go down as a good day’s work by anyone’s standards

Disagree, Pinnock is not slow at all. His demeanour/style sometimes gives the impression that he’s ambling but he does not lack pace at all.

Wasn't it already 2-0 when it was disallowed?

I thought we were the better team but I would not have been surprised had we drawn, because Luton were good and were a threat.
In fact I said in another thread after 30 minutes of the match that we'd need to score a third goal because Luton had 2 goals in them.

I think people are mistaking acknowledging that Luton played well and we're unlucky with a few decisions with moaning

I thought Luton were a great side. That's not moaning about Barnsley, it's praising us.
