But he did get close enough to the keeper, he moved towards the goalie and ball even though he didn't touch it. It could be argued that our keeper did have to account for him in his actions to defend the cross. Offside rule though is *****. It really doesn't follow any clear rules as so much of it is open to interpretation. So to be fair the decision to give theirs as offside was clearly a good one ;-)
If he'd allowed that goal everyone would have been on here moaning about Walton costing us the game. Every cloud and all that
The disallowed goal was definitely offside, not sure how anyone can think otherwise. They proved it on Sky. It was close but it was definitely offside.
