    I don’t think we missed anything with Pearson. Looks ok defensively but still woeful on the ball.

    Wouldn’t mind Cranie in our squad though.

    The lad's a trier, certainly not a bad word to say about him but as you say he's 'limited'. Good L1 defender but only time will tell if he can cut it at championship level.

    Think you're right. Mid table mediocrity beckons for Boro this season. I work with some Boro fans and let's just say they aren't overly impressed with the appointment of Woodgate, cheap option, not enough experience etc. Steve Gibson has taken a fair bit of flak over this appointment.
