I am not defending cavare because what he did was reckless and let everyone down, but he had been booked for what looked like a blatant dive a few minutes earlier. Which no doubt effected his mentality. There seems to be lots of (justifiable) criticism of our players performance but nobody is mentioning the referees performance. Once again we suffered from big club bias and inconsistent officiating. Blatant simulation going unpunished and constantly in the refs face, which for me once again had an effect on the final result. Some might call it rub of the green but it happens week in week out and because we are seen as a small unfashionable club, we definitely lose points because of it.
No I'm wondering if your statement was factually accurate. I'm convinced his actions cost us points. We were in control and playing well. I'm annoyed at what he did. Can't argue with the decision to give him a second yellow.
He pushed him in the back. Unfortunately Mallen(?) was running back and he bumped into him. Daft push but circumstances made it look worse. Still a yellow every day of the week.
The ‘assault’ on Sessegnon led to him rolling around like he had been attacked by a very bad temper troupe of SAS soldiers armed with killer bees. He hasn’t. He was feigning injury to herb cavare sent off ( which he deserved)
You must not have seen the video then. Tends to hurt when you shoved hard in the back and smack your head against something
Come on lads, this is a ludicrous over-reaction here. Who is to say that Fulham wouldnt have turned it round to win even if he/Cavare hadnt been sent off. (although there was no suggestion of that at all in the first half). His push on the player was hardly the crime of the century was it, but sadly it was right in front of the ref after he'd already been booked. And whether the player went down like a pathetic sack of sh*ite is irrelevant Im afraid, his sending off completely changed the game in their favour. How many though were saying on here last week that he scored a brilliant header at Aston Villingham, and he wasnt doing much wrong was he today, before the dreaded incident.
I have seen it he is a professional athlete who is faking an injury to get a fellow professional sent off. That notwithstanding Cavaré deserved to be sent off.
I’ve seen some overreactions on here but these on Cavare have beaten all others. Yes, it was an incredibly daft thing to do and it arguably cost us the 3 points but he’s a good player who’s had a moment of madness. Pressured/competitive sport can do that to you. Im glad that Hecky said that the players told him what they thought of it in the dressing room. I imagine he might sit out a couple of weeks but that’s it. Although if Yiadom goes, maybe not.
Hecky has confirmed that Johansen said something to warrant Dimi to push him which led him to be dismissed. Still no excuse. Should have let the officials deal with him.
We were in a winning position. The rest of them managed to concede 3 goals afterwards. Not entirely on his shoulders. Bristol won 2-0 with 10 men.
