Wasn't really assalt just a push and because their man wasn't expecting it went flying into mallen. People are over reacting abit what about when McDonald got sent off at bramhll lane hammill has done it before watkins against forest last season. Lashed out and seen red.
He needs to make a public apology to the manager, his team mates and the fans like this:- http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...aku-apologises-totally-unacceptable-spitting/ Otherwise it becomes very difficult for fans to forgive him.
Wholeheartedly agree...was same at Villa......If when Johansson threw himself to the ground early in the second half and a pen wasn't given, why wasn't he given a second yellow for simulation....we know why....plus Fulham's second goal was offside.....Macdonald is laid on the goal line behind Davies and Lyndsey
I watched that goal back, it looks like Pearson may have got a touch prior to the Fulham player netting. Hard to tell if it is Davies or Pearson who puts it in his path.
He's still offside though when their player kicks it towards goal regardless of whether one of our players touches it.
He wasn't though. Stop it a 1.26. Fulham's no 47 knocks it towards goal. At that point 2 defenders are level with Macdonald. The ball then flicks off Davies or a defender. When McDonald clips it in a defender has moved forward a touch giving the image above but the offside point would have been at 1.26 when McDonald was level with 2 defenders.
Hard to tell but at the point the ball is played forward Davies's back leg is back on the line. Lindsay is also not stood square.
Like a lot on here I was livid at Cavare for being such an idiot on Saturday but from some of the OTT reactions you'd have thought he'd been photographed in an Owls shirt! The fact we were going so well in 'Patrick's game' adds to the frustration I know, but I sincerely hope none of the overreaction to Cavare is because he's of a different colour and nationality to most of us on here, and for that matter a recent signing too. We've seen Hammill lose the shed on several occasions for all his many more years' playing experience and avowed love of our club - it happens, and to date is an isolated incident during Cavare's time with us. Now it's increasingly clear we're in a relegation scrap the last thing we need is half the side being targeted every Saturday (Davies, Potts, Thiam, Moncur, McCarthy, even Bradders recently, need I go on?) - we're just doing the opposition's work for them if so. I'm sure Hecky will have sorted it out behind closed doors and his teammates will have had their two-pennorth too, so that should be that really. Let's hope he learns from it and goes on to star for us. Next time he comes out in a Reds shirt we need to get behind him and the rest of the lads and get this corner turned sharpish - COYR!
I didn't. I said I hoped it wasn't, having read recent threads on here covering the very disappointing racist comments from our 'fans' during the Cyrille Regis applause and then on Saturday suggesting the French should get out of our club.
Don't be silly, the lad's done really well for us and deserves another chance, if he does it again then I might agree with you.
Full sweep? I think the lad deserves another chance. Ok he let the side down, he's been told that by the rest of the team apparently. Get off his back and give him the benefit of the doubt. How would you feel if you got sacked from your job after your first mistake?
I'm surprised he hasn't said sorry for saturday yet. Doesn't show him in a good light and it's not the way to win back some fan support.
I didn't know that, even so he wasn't sent off. Hopefully this will make him think again. I've seen Hammill push opposition players in similar circumstances on numerous occasions.
Having seen that again and being able to stop and start I can only say that cavares a lucky bloke on 2 points one mallen didnt suffer concussion and two if the fulham player had conected an inch or two higher he would have done quite a bit of damage .... so yes I could see why he got mad whilst it doesn't excuse his lapse in concentration and focus you can see why he was angry. The fulham player should also have walked for such a dangerous tackle from behind... so blatent... deservered a straight red .... poor refereeing in my opinion .. again
