    MacAnthony deserves it but the stick some Reds fans were giving Toney on Twitter the other day was embarrassing.

    Wasn’t one of the best loanees we’ve had but certainly wasn’t one of the worst either. Played a part in us winning two trophies in 2016 & never left on bad terms.

    Good humourd trolling is one thing but that abuse is a total joke. Puts us all in a bad light and makes us look like the dingle idiots they perceive us to be. We have whupped peterbro 6 nil on aggregate this season isn't that enough?!?!

    Aye I was just pointing it out thats all, not condoning it or anything. And the elbow from Toney was something I havent seen discussed on here.

    We have a percentage of complete and utter morons that follow our club. Every club has their share. Unfortunately they tend to be the ones that attract most attention. Thankfully they seem to infest twitter and we're fortunate enough not to have to endure them on here too much.

    This MacAnthony bloke though... I like him, I really do. He defends himself and his club at every opportunity.

    There may be a strange bit of bad blood between our two teams (because they bizarrely confuse us with Crystal Palace) but if it was Ganaye defending his and his clubs honour, to fans of opposing teams, he'd be held in even higher esteem than he already is here.

    That said, Twitter is a platform to say things to people that you would never say to someone's face so it's a little embarrassing that our fans throw this online abuse at him, as if he walked into Redfearns folk'd bend over backwards to have a civil football chat with him.

    I like him too. Defends his club every chance he gets and open with fans of all clubs. In our situation Posh fans will have had an explaination from him why Luton tickets can't be sold on a matchday and why we've not got the whole stand at Burnley when it won't be anywhere near a home sell out.

    Agree I don't do Twitter but he got some stick at the game. Don't know why people feel the need to shout abuse to almost every ex player.
