Those tweets are very strange indeed. Dunno how much notice I’d take from him though. Replying to Angus asking him to stay but then replying to someone else saying he’d let him go. How does that work then? Quick change of heart?
Spooky how Reading features so heavily in this saga. Ex-Reading player, subbed at half-time against Reading, possibly never to appear again until transferred to team managed by former Reading manager. It all seemed a bit strange at the time - he obviously wasn't right in that first half at Reading and there were conflicting messages after the game, some saying he was unwell and others (Hecky I think) saying all the subs were for tactical/performance reasons. If this is right about him going I really hope that Jackson and Pinnock aren't far off returns.
Nah, not really but can see why it may be frowned upon by Hecky. At the end of the day, I like MacDonald but there's an issue somewhere and some of it is in his own head. I think he's in the top two of our centre halve choices but Heckingbottom believes we can do better. This health issue is obviously a problem but also feel Hecky feels we can replace him.
The spat he picked with Winnall after equalising against Wednesday, the 'tattoo gate' episode, and the subsequent sending-off at Bramall Lane have all hinted at maturity issues with Angus. There must be a suspicion that he took badly to not immediately regaining his place after suspension. Hecky demonstrated after the Newcastle game last year and Adam's tantrums that he doesn't suffer indiscipline gladly, or at all. That does not bode well for Cavare unless he holds his hand up and demonstrates he has learned from Saturday. If the 'iron' issue was the real problem with Angus I couldn't imagine that Hull would be interested. As things stand, he has to be behind Lindsay, Pinnock and Jackson, with Pearson also attempting to lay claim to that slot.
Could be wrong but looks like something behind scenes has gone off. Gets sent off at bramhall lane loses his place costs us goals at reading gets subbed at half time never seen again but strange. And why would hull buy a player with iron difficency?
I heard rumours to that effect, but that's hardly a reason to sell him. Or even anyone else's business.
